The CANA

The Compagnie des Airs Sauvages imagined this place, and the town hall of Creully-sur-Seulles made it possible!

Located in the former stables of the Château de Creully, the CANA, or Maison des Musiques de Tradition Orale, is a cultural third place where stories are shared, knowledge is passed on, audiences meet, and artistic creations are made and performed.

Workshops, classes, musical gatherings, residencies, concerts, and events take place here.

Made up of three main rooms, including an intimate performance space (49 seats), it offers a cultural season constantly connected to oral tradition and rooted in local dynamics.

The CANA is a machine for weaving connections!

Workshops

Workshops take place on Sundays so as many people as possible can attend. They are based on several principles:

  • a different relationship to time
  • teaching based on oral transmission
  • unique themed modules
  • time for group practice
  • accessibility
